Peter re-discovers his passion for the song "Surfin' Bird", but Brian and Stewie find it so annoying that they try to prevent it from being heard again. Distraught, Peter searches every record store in town for a copy of the song until he runs into Jesus himself, and the two start hanging out.

This isn't a terrible episode at all. It had me laughing out loud at practically every "Bird is the Word" scene especially the last one and the Office Space reference was undeniably epic.
The first act was better than the latter parts of the episode but thats all...

I sriously am mystified why people are thinking the new episodes are no good, imo they are still on the same level and are very great.
Fanatastic episode, i loved the bird.

While I didn't like the last episode, this one was one was actually one of the better episodes of the series. The office space refrences was perfect...

To be honest, I can't see why everyone is hating these new episodes so much. "I Dream of Jesus" was nowhere near as bad as people are saying...

the story line was all wrong!: it dragged the first concept on way to long; no height or depth in any of it.
It only focused on peter and left all the characters acting around him.
In my view the writer went totally off task and forgot he was writing for Family guy but thought he was writing for something completely different.
Hopefully the next one is better, the first one was much better but the story line was slightly flat...

It's as if the writer's strike never ended. It's time to hang it up. This makes two shows in a row that I barely made it through...

That was absolutely brilliant! The Surfin Bird song is destined to go down as Family Guy legend! I honestly nearly pissed myself laughing at it!!..
