Peter re-discovers his passion for the song "Surfin' Bird", but Brian and Stewie find it so annoying that they try to prevent it from being heard again. Distraught, Peter searches every record store in town for a copy of the song until he runs into Jesus himself, and the two start hanging out.

Family Guy once again proved to us all that it is truly one of the greatest and funniest if not the greatest and funniest TV show of all time by including the catchy yet annoying tune "the bird is the word"...

Overall not a bad episode. I loved the bird is the word during it. I mean it was supposed to be overdone and it only got hilarious when brian and stewie killed it...

i loved Surfin bird i had never heard of teh trashmen before family guy and its such a amazing catchy song however the episodes plot was lacking so overaLL i give it a 8..

Great episode! I love how the Peter stupidity's explored on this episode. But it could be better if the rest of the cast had another story in the episode...
